i've stopped running for a while and i kept having "good" excuses not to, i did sign up for the nike run so that i would stop coming up with excuses. not good to run like a pansy when everyone is looking right?
i'm back to 2 or 3 runs a week and while i've started with 5 or 6km runs, i've recently gone back to doing 10km. my goal for the nike run (exactly one month away) is to finish it within 50 minutes or about 5 min/km. once i get into gear and start doing 10km it's not too tough to get there again with every run but shaving even half a minute off feels like i have to run so hard i'm losing half a lung.
3 mins plus off the desired target now. i really hope race day gives that extra push.
