Well the Democrats have spoken and poor ole Joe has been thrown into the wolves. The 2000 VP candidate is disgraced in his own state.
Does this mean CT voters are fed up with Joe? I don't think so..
Those who vote in democratic primaries are usually the ones that compose the core base of the party. Therefore, the pool of voters lean firmly to the left while the silent majority of the center wait until the non primary elections to cast their opinion. This is interesting when you consider that Joe only lost 48-52 in the liberal primary of a liberal state.
But alas. Joe will run as an independent and basically split the dem vote, gift-wrapping the state of Connecticut to the Republican candidate. Another tough lesson for the Dems.
