so yeah
firstly, i need to apologize to amy and camille cause they sent me e-mails and I havn't responded to them yet and I feel like a horrible unshaven jerk. (which reminds me, i need to shave)
Well, this past weekend I went to Scotland with Tasha, Rita, Vickie, Toral, Matt and there we met up with Kevin, Sarah and Dara.
Man, Scotland is awesome. I'm talking awesomely awesome. Here are a few of the hilites

1.Friday night was the 2nd best night I've had in the UK thus far (losing out to the vh1-esque hotel suite party by a miniscule amount.) I met a lot of cool people, drank a LOT, danced , ran through scottish graveyards, and finally got to sleep at 4 AM.

2.Saturday morning we woke up at 7:30 AM to go on a tour of the Scotland Highlands. Thats right, 7:30 AM, which means I got 3 and a half hours of sleep! Which was awesome, because the tour lasted ALL F-ING DAY. It went from 8 AM to 730 PM. The tour was great though. It was a small group of us and our tour guide drove us in a minibus all over Scotland where the scenery was absolutely stunning.

3. At about 11 AM on Saturday, as our tour stopped in a quaint scottish town to get coffee and my hangover finally began to subside, i decided I needed to go to a cashpoint machine (ATM). walking back to the coffee shop, I looked down on my watch to see how much time I had to grab a quick cup of coffee, when i notice I'M WEARING A BRACELET. Yes, thats right folks. Some people do crazy stuff when they drink like get tattoos, hook up, have strange rashes, scratches and bruises. Well apparently, I obtain jewelry. It was realy funny/bewildering asking my trip mates if they knew how I got this bracelet. (by the way, this bracelet wasn't exactly a masculine bracelet) I finally remembered though. I met this girl and we partied on friday night and then she put it on me to have right before we passed out (we were staying in the same hostel room)

4. On Sunday, while the girls went shopping, Matt C. and i walked around edinburgh and found this little known park where there was a huge hill, so we climbed ontop of it and there was this amazing view of scotland with the oceans and mountains in the distance. oh yeah, and there was also a G-8 protest going on with everyone dressed in their underwear and holding signs, which was amusing.

5. Speaking of G-8, I am going to Live-8 at Hyde park next weekend, where one of the many things I'll get to see live are The Rolling Stones, Elton John, and PINK FLOYD REUNITING FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1982!!!

6. Only 6 more weeks and then I come back to the states. It was cool, when we finally got back to London from Scotland and all of us thinking "ah, we're finally back home." Oh, and the tube was closed when we got back to London, so we had no idea how to get back, and ended up taking 3 different busses, one of them where i got a GUSHING BLOODY NOSE. no one had tissues so i had to use a brown paper bag and I just bled everywhere it was horrible. Then we had to walk about an hour back to our flat.

7. But like I was saying, only 6 weeks more until i come back to the states. I've been keeping up with all of your LJ's and away messages and stuff I'm having an amazing time here, but I'm also defiitely looking forward to seeing everyone when I get back, that means all of you gainesville/jca/jacksonville etc/crew. We all must go someplace for wings, where I can order SWEET TEA(the number one thing i miss about the US is sweet tea) and we can all bask in the glory that is Urban Meyer (even if you dont go to UF, you must still come to bask in our collective glory.) Well, I have a dayoff from work today, and im way behind in school work so i must be doing that.

Peace

And comment, you lazy bitches.
