I am being a bad LJ person. I really had committed to doing this everyday and lately I have been so busy I haven’t really put anything in here.
Let’s see the chronological summing up of the past few days….
Co manager came back to work and told me she has been talking to my boss about how wonderful I am.
Made an overtime offer to the reps which I later had to detract *angry face*
Came to the realization that the only reason my boss wants to understand what I do is because we are behind and she doesn’t want to be yelled at.
Couldn’t adjust desk stuff at work because of large number of missing desk parts.
Made my most senior rep cry because of a conversation involving her performance that I full intended to be constructive and positive (her performance doubled the very next day)
Began to feel that my co-manager and I are the only ones who can be both realistic and helpful to our customers.
I have put the evil monkey to bed 4 nights in a row now. (this is a new record for me; and I don’t mind a bit, although it has forced me to neglect online sites such as LJ. lol)
ICE happened where I live. Our power was out for several hours and I took Wife and Gabe to a friends who was not out of power on my way to work.
That is about it. Sorry for the sum up. I will try to be more deep in the future.
