The Charlie Episode

I really should rewatch the episode before making true commentary as my roommate talked for about five minutes in the middle (and for 10 minutes of the beginning of Arrow, grrr), but whatever. *handwaves*


Things I liked:

• Shout out, FINALLY, for Sam's insane hair
• Charlie
• hugs!
• montage!! (I snorted, seriously)
• Charlie being invited in the Batcave
• The Batcave has a shooting range? Awesome. But like, where is everyone if it's updated enough to block cells and have a shooting range? Did everyone die out in the late 90's?
• Charlie flipping her badge open upside down - shout out to the writers for remembering Cas with that
• Charlie in that FPS outfit - made me think of XF's FPS outfit...her hair's even red like Scully's!
• Dean's (pointless yet hot) uniform
• Dean taking care of Sam - I know some will most likely disagree, but for once I was on Dean's side regarding Sam
• Charlie and her mom - gross sobbing, but lovely and touching
• Sam inviting Charlie back - woman of letters, FTW!
• Charlie and Dean hug/"I love you"/big brother and little sister bit - more gross sobbing
• Charlie, basically

Things I didn't like:

• The episode was a bit disjointed, leaping from dream to batcave, to Charlie to case to Charlie's hideout, to djinn joint, to dream, to batcave, to hospital
• Djinn storyline was just kind of dumb and not well executed - though I suppose if it means great emotional moments, I can forgo plot?

Next week looks intense. Poor Cas! Poor Kevin! Poor everyone! (Except Naomi.)

In other news, have you all seen the new "Cooking fresh and fast with West?" I can't believe Misha put that "salad" in his mouth at the end. Ewwwww.lol
