Marvel Ship Flailing
It's strange because I don't necessarily feel the compelling urge to read Marvel comics (though part of that is the sheer amount), and I might almost call myself a DC!girl still, simply because that's what I've read. I mean, I grew up loving Superman (though, more TV/movie versions than comics), and Hellblazer and Watchmen will probably be my favorite comics for a loooong time.
Yet...I ship the HELL out of Erick and Charles (I also enjoy the X-Men in general) and Tony and Steve. I don't really ship anyone in DC verse. Well aside from the (for me) obligatory Lois and Clark. But, how can you not? Seriously, trying to figure out which couple is more gay is near impossible.
Charles and Erik

I mean, Charles is constantly dying and Erik beats himself over it. They're ridiculously domestic. Erik cries. Charles forgives Erik. And then there's the AU where Charles wipes Erik's mind and Erik without his past is suddenly a huge fan of Xavier's and there's logger plaid and hands on shoulders and...gah.
And then Tony and Steve...one of them is almost always naked and they snark as good as John and Rodney and a lot of it is seriously sexual where in modern day everyone around them would shift awkwardly and then someone would go "that's what she said". In Civil War apparently they're enemies but then Steve dies and Tony is like, crying on his bedside. And then there's that image above which I think is after Steve dies, but really, it just looks like Tony is crazy stalking Steve and has the restraint of a 12 year old with a crush on her favorite celebrity when it comes to posting his pictures everywhere.lol And there's allusions to walking funny and safe words? I'm sorry but...THEY'RE TOTALLY DOING IT.
And actually, I just want to link you all to this glorious ode to why Tony and Steve are awesome and why Steve and Tony together are even MOAR awesome.
