Well, the angel thing will be over. But they can't do season 6 without Sam, so somehow, he'll come back. be it God breaking him out or something else, IDK. So yeah, it may be Chuck rode him out. Raised him from Perdition, whatever. I really don't know what to think with the ending, though. Like, where they're going with it.
I know I'd like to see it be Sam after being let out by God. But he doesn't want to interfere in Dean's new life, so he mopes and hunts. And eventually Cas joins him and they wait until Dean recognizes it just isn't working with Lisa; that he loves her and Ben but he's not IN love with her. And really, he's only there because he made Sam a promise. And maybe 5 years later, he catches Sam or Cas out of the corner of his eye and then it starts all over again. And somehow, he and Sam make up and they hunt, and he and Cas finally consummate 2 years of eyesex and 5 years of pining, and they make up this weird family unit and Dean goes to stay with Lisa and Ben all the time, or maybe he buys a house in the same town, but it's him and Cas and Sam and Bobby and Ben AND Lisa.
