Yay Katie Phillips!!
Katie Phillips took 1st place (for the second year in a row, mind you!) at the Wilson Park 4th of July Talent Show. She sang "As long as he needs me" from OLIVER (she was going to sing "Look at me I'm Sandra Dee" but we decided that singing about being slutty was less family- and thus judge-friendly than singing about being an abused girlfriend - and I guess we were right!). She received $100 and a place in the annals of the Wilson Park Talent Show history.
