So I am in Contemporary Vocal Ensemble. As a Soprano ONE. They even asked at the audition, "who is usually soprano I, because there are a lot of high Bs in the piece" and I KNOW I did not raise my hand. *shrugs* We'll see how that goes. We're doing Stravinsky's Les Noces, and I just listened to it, and I hate it. It's furious, weird, and, well,

ooooohhhh stavinsky! fun stuff!! Don't be homesick! We are all Janesick so your not alone:) I'm actually going to email susan slaughter tomorrow about catching a lesson with her in november:)!!!!!!!!! Well, I'm having a Mary Kay party (I think I txted you about this today) in a week or two and you'll get to meet some LOVELY singer girls...maybe about 10 of them?

It'll get better, I promise. The first is the hardest, but really the first month is THE HARDEST...it's only uphill after that.
