Some people had the cheek to say that when we actually asked him out because we wanted to celebrate his birthday!
Anyway, we were brainstorming and thinking of where to go to celebrate Morri's birthday and we ended up settling on going to Holland Village for a little all girls sit down dinner and chill session. I finished work at 9.30pm and rushed down in a cab to meet them. They were waiting at Al Dente Trattoria restaurant.
As we were about to surprise Morri with the little cake Shir bought, the staff dropped us a bomb : they had to close early because the manager wanted to reprimand a staff for breaking a couple of glasses and spilling some drinks! What nonsense?! So, we were forced to move elsewhere, and our surprise was spoilt by the callous waiter who passed the cake box to us right before Morri's eyes! We were utterly pissed.
But, thank goodness Damian came to join us and as we had two set of wheels available, we decided to go to our usual haunt at Tanjong Pagar, grab some drinks and sit down for the cake ceremony.
So, we did just that, and after chilling and chatting for a bit more, and of course photo taking, we made our ways home a little after midnight as most of us had to work tomorrow.
But of course, it was great that all us "ji muis" were there to be the first to wish him a Happy Birthday!
