If Rat Can Cook, So Can You!

Went to watch Ratatouille last nite with Michelle and her bf, and pulled along Ryan and Morri. After Michelle and bf fetched us three at ard 7.30pm, we had our usual dinner at one of the Balestier coffee shops before heading for the show.

As usual, Disney Pixar did not fail to impress with their animation and CG artistry and mastery, and the story line is the standard impression on kids that anything is possible if you put your heart to it.

The most hilarious scene would have to be the one where the rats ran the kitchen during the dinner rush, and of course the most touching would be when the most staunch critic was touched by the simple peasant dish served to him.

Moral of the story? One can do anything if one puts his/her/it's mind to it, be it an impossible feat or the simplest of tasks.

In this time and age, with all the pessimism and reality running amok, this could be taken as a whole lot of bull, given circumstances and all.

Is it really? Let yourself and your heart decide that.

Still, this movie is a breath of fresh air and a gentle reminder that it is not wrong to think big, for you may not know where it brings you. Dream small, and you'll think small of yourself and your achievements.
