The scariest way to be woken up:

(I'm asleep in the cafe area of St. Joes Hospital. I slowly come out of my sleep as I detect a person standing beside me. He is clearly a homeless man.)

Homeless Guy: Do you know where the Emergency Room is? I've just been stabbed.

I quickly grabbed my stuff and went back to the lab.

In the movie Accepted (rent, don't see in theaters), right before they go into a decrepit old building the fat guy says "I hope you guys have homeless stab insurance!".... that post reminded me of that.
