GRRAAAAAHHH
Ughhh.
When I updated fanfic_cabinet I messed up the HTML and layout of The List post, completely deleting the summary and link for one story among other things. The List is now blank, having saved what was left of it in a Word document.
I may do one of three things: retype the entire thing and hope this never happens again, retype the titles and links but leave out the lengthy summaries and opinions (because I feel like that's probably where I got messed up), or delete the community as a whole and relaunch The Fanfic Cabinet as a second journal in which I'd be able to back date the post containing The List, and write summaries and opinions of each fic in a separate post so that there would be less that could go wrong and less damage that could occur.
Whatever I decide to do, it'll get done... starting sometime tomorrow. I'm just too mad and frustrated right now to do anything else. I just wanted to make a really good fanfic rec list for other fans to use, but my lack of computer/LJ skills seems to have fucked things up. And here I had just written a seven paragraph summary/opinion for the story that made me finally decide to even make a rec list in the first place.
