Wow, I never believed it before, but March really is the shittiest month of the year.

Uh, wow. It has been a crappy week for me in Pittsburgh. An acquaintance of mine from high school passed away in a motorcycle accident early this week, then there was the shooting on campus (so I didn't get to go to kendo that night) in which I just found out today my kindergarten aide was shot four times and is in critical condition, and then I found out my hours for work were cut this weekend AGAIN which means that now I can't afford to go to a kendo match in Cleveland at the end of this month that I was really looking forward to. Not to mention that the guy I kind of sort of planned on maybe asking out still hasn't been able to come back to kendo after almost three months. Oh, and it snowed and poured all through my spring break. Oh, and Tekko. As much as I'm looking forward to it, as always, no one has gotten back to me since the end of February over what the heck I'm actually going to be doing there; interpreting (which I kind of assume), security, whatever. And I really really hope that there's going to be someone else besides me with more experience acting as the main interpreter.

*sigh* On the bright side though, I guess, I can/really really should use this new found free time to work on my two term papers... especially the one for sexuality and representation that I wanted to get the proposal handed in early for but got too caught up this week in finishing my cosplay and keeping track of what the fuck was happening in Oakland. And at least it's not as if things are spiraling out of control, they're just really not going as planned. At all.

Hopefully I can put my four or five pounds back on that I lost from being sick two weeks ago by Tekko so my pants stay up, at least.
