Long Time, No See

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, work's been busy! Anyhow, in the time spent waiting for sky_dark to release the final chapter of Better Living Through Alchemy (God bless her yaoi-riddled heart), I've started watching Tsubasa Chronicle. Call me narrow-minded, but a Tekko Vic Mignogna recommended it and I took his word for it. Let me tell you, I have not been disappointed. This show is fricken' great. The music is so...un-anime. It reminds me of the score from Pirates of the Caribbean fused with 12 Girls Band. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the character design was just as beautiful as the original art by CLAMP. Those ladies are GODS. Sadly, none of the English dubbed episodes are on the web yet, although according to Vic (who, by the way, plays the BEAUTIFUL Fay D. Flowright)they are trying to get Cartoon Network to air it. If you haven't already, you oughta check it out!
Lastly, on the note of Tekko, I visited my old elementary school the other day and ran into another Vic fan. Just as I was about to leave, this girl, seventh or eighth grade, came up to me and asked 'Wh-were you at Tekko, in the Vic panel?' and I was like "...Yeah?" because I never mentioned that to anyone there. Then she goes 'I was the Winry in the back!', then I recognized her. She was SO CUTE. We talked a bit and it turns out that we both read Tokyo Mew Mew as our first manga, in the SAME grade. She was surprised to learn that I was going to Japan and she said that I was lucky but everyone called her a dork. I just told her "Don't let anyone call you a dork, 'cause I'm dorking my way to Japan!"

I was so touched.
