the last days brought a couple of exciting things (more or less):
- a new header~~~!!! *luffs* made - as always - by noi <3 <3 <3!!
- got my exams done and over with... already know that i passed forensics, still waiting on the results for essay writing and japanese.
- a huge. HUGE. lack of sleep.
- but a very exciting new rpg obsession, hurrhurr.
- france is gone...!!! for vacation probably, BUT SHE'S GONE!! she's been away for two days now, THANK YOU GOD!
but what i actually wanted to write about is my first day of my internship at kay international pre school in bonn.
so:
it is a freaking pain to get up at 5:30... and in any case not a good start into the day. ever. i managed not to oversleep and not to wander around like a zombie, tho, which is pretty amazing considering the fact that i had about 3 hours of sleep. yay me :D!
by train, it takes me about 1:45 hours to actually get to the pre school, which also sucks majorly. but i chose it, i'm gonna deal with it somehow.
so when i finally got there at about 7:45, debby (one of the educators) and isabel (another intern) were already there, drinking tea and chatting away~. they are both pretty nice. debby is one of those typical american soccer moms, i guess. at least, that's what she reminds me of. which is good, because i like being reminded of my stay in the states :3... and isabel is still a college student, 17 years, so naturally, she's pretty cute. she's taller than me, tho, but looks so fragile °^°! i'm afraid that one of the kids might break her |D. but she's got an extremly loud voice. which was very helpful |D.
i need to get used to using my voice in an authoritarian way again. but that probably won't take to long |D ... in my head i can still hear myself saying "jack stow!!! WHAT on earth are YOU doing?!" |D...
we later got joined by karen, the second educator. she's also pretty nice. but i think the chemistry between her and debby isn't quite good. they keep interrupting each other while talking to the kids, which is NEVER a good sign xD.
so, on my first day they made me draw. again. when i went to the pre school the first time back in december, they had also made me paint a freaking huge poster. (which took me six hours.) so i was mainly occupied with drawing... i drew some fruit, a fly, a fire engine and firefighter fred. did you notice something? if yes, then you're as smart as a pre schooler. if not... well... *pets*
yes, all those words start with an f, for the kids are learning the letter f this week :3 ... which means, next week, i'll have to draw lots and lots of things startings with g... like... ghoul. ghost. goblin. gremlin.... maybe not the best choices, but somehow all i can think of right now lol.
except for the constant noise, there was one thing that made me sort of go wtfh. the educators left isabel and me alone with the children for on several occasions and for pretty longish periods of time (like one hour free play outside in the yard, for example). and while we were busy playing entertainers and supervisors, they seemed to enjoy their peaceful and quiet freetime... *coughs* maybe i should ask them tomorrow to split their pay with us |D...
but other than that, it was actually really pretty nice... i'm excited to see how long i will be thinking this way, tho.
oh, and i got something that made me feel special :DDDD!!
i'm really, really tired now, tho... looking forward to crawling under my blankie very~ soon x3.
