Buy High Sell Low

So...it’s been about 7 months since my last entry, that’s goto be some kind of record right?. Anyway I shall try my damndest to keep upto date this time around. It’s been a fairly big 7 months really, Well it feels like it has for me but compared to most it'll sound fairly standard. I'll list the big things and then talk about them save myself getting all muddled.

Big things!

- I got the job I mentioned in my last post
- I don’t hate going to work, I rather enjoy it
- I am happy!
- I traveled to the other side of the world, alone
- I've walked the streets of Bangkok

Yeah so that about covers the big things.

Works going really well. Im a purchase ledger clerk, not the most interested of jobs but it can/will lead to other things and I had my performance/pay reviews went well to. I even got a rise when I only been there 2 months. Office Cowboy. I think the work thing has had a knock on effect on everything else really, It’s really improved my confidence having to speak to people in office and on the phone about all sorts. Obviously having more confidence helps with everything else. Ohh and there’s a HOT girl at work who I was in Love with for about a week. You know how it is when you just see someone from a distance but don’t really know them so you fill in the blanks turning them into your dream person...It was that. All in all it’s going rather well, which is good because I can’t afford to start at the bottom anymore...getting old now.

Bangkok! What can I say...it was the best thing I have ever done. I was shit scared/excited on the way to the airport, I'd never been anywhere alone outside of Birmingham. Holidays had always been with the family. So yeah, I've survived a 10 hour night flight in economy with no sleep, a guy with a cold next to me and no food to land in Bangkok. Off the plain and it hits you, the heat...well the humidity. Its 30 degrees and like you're being hugged by a big sweaty fat guy. I get through customs ok, despite looking sweaty and decidedly nervous and into my air-conditioned Mercedes limo, that’s right kids! a LIMO and there an ice cold towel and bottle of mineral water waiting for me. I even got upgraded to a mini suite in the hotel, Mini bar, Walk in shower, king sized bed and 2 TVs!. I could write about Bangkok for pages and Im sure I'd end up repeating myself alot so I'll post some pictures and leave it.
