Well, first semester is over and that's SUCH a good thing. The only problem that I have with break is that all of my friends are gone for three weeks. No Julie Brown, no Elizabeth, no Ms. Rigby, no Smoochie, no Jen, no Greg, no Josh, no Jake, no Brandon, no ANYONE.... minus Kelsie is is still sort of around for work.
Anyway, it'll be good to catch up with old friends... once we find the time. I haven't really been able to yet... so if you read this and you live in Bloomington and you don't mind talking to me... CALL ME. I would like to be kept busy over break. Two problems, however:
A) no car.
my effing car decided to go shitty on me over Thanksgiving break. My dad says he'll take care of it. But I guess he meant that he'll take care of it by just getting me a car when I graduate or some shit, becuase my car hasn't moved since I brought it here a month ago.
B) I work. A lot.
Thirty-seven hours this week alone, and no one told me that I'm on call, but it seems that I'm the first person they ask once someone calls in and says they can't make it. I'll pull in some nice checks, though. Then I can pay off those jerks in Martinsville who gave me the ticket.
The story with that goes that I didn't want the ticket on my record or the points on my lisence, so I agreed to pay double the amount of my ticket ($247) by late January and not get into any legal trouble for a year (which I don't expect will happen, but I'm almost SURE that it will because... it's my life we're talking about here, right?
Anyway, I s'pose things are going well. Er... well enough, I suppose. I wish there were just one person in the world that I could spill my guts to and not doubt what I say or be nervous that they'll judge me. There's always God, I guess....
*sigh*
Merry Christmas.
For the record, if I can't go out of town for New Year's because of effing Best Buy... I will kill someone. So watch your back.
