Partially inspired by an article in the Saturday West's magazine about the top burger places in Perth (yes, Alfred's kitchen was included, as well as Retro Betty's, and a place I hadn't heard of before - Flipside Burger Bar, which I want to try) - I thought I would recommend my own item:
Lozend's in Perth. It's a Pizza/Kebab/Burger place on the corner of Murray and William st, right near the new train station.
Lozend special burger: $7.50 gets you: burger meat, shaved lamb meat, shaved chicken meat, egg, cheese, kebab sauces, lettuce, onion, tomato and bun. SOOooo much meat. So delicious :-)
Also, they have pizzas to rival anywhere else, simply on sheer generosity of toppings. The Lozend Special Pizza ($9/$10/$12 s/m/l) has a full 1+cm thick layer of shaved lamb and chicken meat over the entire pizza (plus some capsicum, olives and LOTS of cheese). Nummy :-)
