All Smiles
Well we did the whole moving thing last week like I said we would. Bryan came over and helped my dad and brother lift all the heavy stuff, he's so helpful. He and I had a fun time taking apart the home gym downstairs and moving my furniture into my new room. We came to the conclusion that we work pretty well together so when we get married we know we won't be ripping eachothers' throats out, so happy about that LOL. I went to Best Buy with my mom that night and got my tv and dvd player and Alex hooked it up for me in my room. Then my dad and brother said their goodbyes, I cried of course cause this is all totally new and different and kinda sucks. But we've all been doing alot better and have been trying to adjust as much as possible.
Sunday and Monday I worked at the hospital, fun stuff. Not really. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I did the whole clinical thing. But its been pretty easy cause it was my last week so they were kinda just letting me do what I want and leave early. Wednesday it was pedi time with my 2 favs, that was fun as always. After that I went to my dad's and me and my sister had dinner with him and my brother, it was pretty cool. Then we all sat around and watched Happy Gilmore. Thursday Bryan came over and being the cutest most amazing boyfriend that he is, he brought me 4 new cds and my favorite flowers. The funny thing was the flowers matched my toes, LOL. It was super cute. When I asked him why he got me flowers he said "well I was thinking yesterday, my baby hasn't gotten flowers in a while so I'm gonna get her flowers." How cute is that!!!!??? So we had some snuggle time n'such and then we went and got slurpees and taffy. He stayed until about 7 and then he was off to palace vison. I hung around, took a little napper and then I went and watched the game with Jaimser, Chris, Scott, and his girlfriend Andrea. It was fun but a disappointing game. Friday was my last day of clinicals, and I was actually kinda sad cause I really like the people I worked with. So I said my goodbyes and they gave us half a day which was nice. I'll definitely still go and visit them. I also found out that theres a full time day position available at Children's Hospital and I think I'm gonna go for it. They sounded really eager to have me cause I worked with them for 7 weeks, so hopefully I'll get it.
Well Bryan left me this weekend to go up north with his friends so it was girl time. Well first I stopped at the B's on Friday to take Mr. and Mrs. B. some pictures of us and there was Jay layed out on the floor with his arm in a sling. That silly boy hurt himself doin stupid stuff. But he's ok, so I visited with them and played with their new puppy, he is the cutest thing ever. I was running around in the back with him chasing my feet because he's only 8 weeks old. He even tried to go up my skirt while I was sitting in the grass with him. LOL. Chris came over and we were all sitting in the back with Jay's parents. After a while I decided to go but Mrs. B. made me stay and have dinner with them all, they are so nice. And then Aunt TT came over and we talked about my boards cause she works in the same field as me but she's a higher up at Sinai Grace. She was giving me a pep talk for my boards.
So after I left Jay's I went over to Gina's and it was movie time with my favs. Yes we now have a new fav.........Ms. Amanda Pelfrey. She's such a sweetheart, we never really hung out before but she's a good friend of Jaimser's and she's been bringing her around and she's great so now I have 3 favs. So we all went to the movies to see The Perfect Man, it was such a good movie, but of course I was the only one not crying, Gina, Jaimser, and Amanda were balling their eyes out. It was funny. Then the girls were just being silly on the drive back, I love those girls though. So I dropped Gina off cause she was going on another date, and Jaimser and I went back to Amanda's and hung out. I crashed pretty early though cause I was tired.
Yesterday was pretty layed back, I did alot of studying. But we kept getting damn brown outs and we finally lost our power completely around 7:45. So I gave Bryan's parents a call and they still had their power, then I called Mr. B. and they still had power. And since I was home alone Mr. B. told me to come over and hang out with him and the puppy cause they were the only one's home. So I went over and played with Bauer (the puppy) and talked with Mr. B. and watched some tv and stuff till my power came back on.
I came home and crashed early again cause I was super tired from studying. Today I studied alot and my dad came over and put my shelves up so I helped him with that. I was supposed to watch a movie with Chris but we decided to do that tomorrow night. I talked to my baby cause he finally got home, but he's got a cold, my poor babe. Now I'm off to bed, my brain is fried. Goodnight.
