GAH... I hate my computer... I totally had to make a new one of these b/c it wouldnt let me in my old one. Damn technology.
So I just had the best day of my life on June 25, 2005. And if you guessed that the reason was the Rascal Flatts concert, well, you're right. Oh.. MY.. GOSH! It was amazing, I love them even more than I did before, if it's possible. Man oh man they really know how to get a crowd riled up. It was sooo much fun! I was there with Adin and her b/f, and not to mention saw a whole bunch of people I knew. Too bad my b/f wasn't there :( Oh well, maybe next time! I took pictures and 2 videos ( Bless the Broken Road & Fast Cars and Freedom). My my, it was the best part of my summer! Well so far at least. There were so many drunk people around us, especially the lady standing in front. You could clearly see at least 8 empty margarita flasks on the ground, and they were pretty big. She was swaying every which way and singing her heart out thinking it sounded perfect. I did meet some guys that happened to go to UNT too so that was pretty cool. Blake Shelton opened... blah!!! No one really cared haha, oh well. I'm sure people who open know that the crowd is usually there for the main event, but ya know, whatev. Anyways, the concert was a blast and I wish I could go to the rest of their tour! Oh, it was pretty damn cool that they brought back some 80s hits... Yes, "Born in the USA", the song totally abused and reused by the Chevals like every year, but it was there and was okay when Adin and I started dancing like fools. OH... the coolest part was when they started singing Friends In Low Places... OMG, that totally got me excited! Everyone who is anyone will know that song, and if you don't, well sorry, you're not too cool.
Well George Strait's new CD comes out this week so I'm excited. Kind of a belated Father's Day gift for my dad but it's a good one.
