reminisce
I miss my friends.
I miss the days of hanging out in parking lots until 2am, of spontaneous trips to the coffeehouse or Fridays, of not having to give much thought into making plans to hang out and just knowing that whatever the night's plan was, there would be people to call and to meet up with.
Now, of the people I'm still friends with and hang out with, 3 of them live in Florida, one upstate, and the only one left on LI is Seana, and we hang out like 2-3 times a week. I'm going to be so lost without her to hang out with this summer! I really don't hang out with anyone anymore except her, or with Troy and his friends. The only other NY friend who I'd still hang out with if I could is Lohne, but he's always busy when I'm free and vice versa.
It's hard for me to make friends that are "forever friends". Most of the people I meet are more work-related "friends", who you wouldn't really hang out with except for work related events, or acquaintances, who I know will lose touch after awhile. I finally made a real "friend" for the first time since college, and of course she lives on the other side of the United States.
