Still me, only pretending to be amazingly smartnotverydevilishSeptember 9 2009, 21:02:58 UTC
Nah, you did such a wonderful job before that it's fine. ^_^ I usually go for expression!icons anyway, and there are PLENTY here. What I REALLY need is some poor soul to be my Eve Ayumu, but eh. *laughs*
He's RP-ing at KKM_rp_game, and so far, the fact he's the only Spiral character fills me with all kinds of sadness. (and alck of cooking...) Basically teh RP I'm at is pan-fandom and focuses on developing your character through interactions. Ie: there' not really a plot. It's more like normal LJ-ing where you wander through your friends list and see who's having what bit of drama...except with Willy Wonka adopting a gothic lolita child from Germany, Shapeshifters, a couple of angels wandering around, and a gay precognizant mercenary looking for dirt on people bitching about their daily lives. It's surprisingly amusing, and somehow seems to lack the "SUDDEN!SMUT FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!" tendencies some comms have, and it's a great way to get a character-voice to happen. *cough* And this is TOTALLY not a desperate and shameless plug to a total stranger...*cough*
But I really DO love your icons. And I know for sure, Mushy-sama up there's been pimping off your fine work any time he wants to say something, so it's not just me. ^_~
Oh, there's actually a lot of games that focus on characters interactions-- I tend to get lost with ones with plots (aside from original character ones) but I do fine otherwise. I played Hizumi at CFUD (which has a no sex rule, by the way!)but had to drop him because I was having a bit of a hard time playing him without Ayumu. I'm probably going to give it a try again at Island, but I still need to finish my app aaaaah |D;;
But it's good to see other Spiral RPers out there, there reeeally are way too few. Glad to see another Hizumi especially, since I never seen him at all ♥
Thank you again for your comment! I hope you'll find castmates soon, I'll let people I know would like to play Spiral that there's an Hizumi out there è_é/
Ooh, are there? That gives me some hope for the fate of the internet. XDD But I bet it IS hard ot play him without Ayumu. The fandom itself is rare enough, so that's probably part of it. You're taking a tiny fandom and hoping to get members without canvasing? eh. Not likely, right? Fortunately, Ayumu's the main character. Except...er...you seemed to have trouble with that. Crap. My logic just went out the window. I TRIED playing Rio and Eyes, but it never got off the ground...and I'd really love to play Kanone, but that's probably impossible without (at least) an Eyes player. Oh Spiral...you make things so difficult...T_T
You've probably never seen one at all because this si my first day being a mint ice cream baby after deciding it would be fun YESTERDAY. I think Hizumi's making me fly by the seat of my pants. The genius bastard...
I'm crossing my fingers for this, and considering how melodramatically I could attempt to recruit without conscripting small children... BUT YOUR HELP IS AMAZING. Thank you. (Haa~ what a nice fandom... The beauty of small fandoms--everyone's so kind to other people...*tears up and sniffles*)
Thank you for letting me ramble off-topic in your vicinity, anyway. You've made me very happy. And scatterbrained.
Yeah, there are! I wish I was more active in general so I could rec you some, but unfortunately I tend to focus on the games I'm in alone, so I wouldn't know what to point you to aside from those two games I mentioned earlier. But yeah, the fandom is so tiny :(! And I tried to play Eyes myself once, failed spectacularly because he's way smarter than I am-- and while Hizumi is also smart, he act like an idiot so it's relatively easier (and beside, playing cheerful characters is a lot of fun I think).
And don't worry, you're more than welcome, I love talking about Spiral as well, it's one of the series I love the most and I rarely get to talk about it, sadly :(!
Heh. I'm more a "one comm at a time" person anyway. So it's alright. I mean, it's nice to know places, but once I'm in one, I usually stick around. I don't get a lot of internet time, you know?
Well...uh...supposedly I'm smart, so I love thinking blade-children thoughts. That wasn't the problem so much as there was the fact the place was...er...pretty racy. And I knew that going in, and I thought it'd be fun toplay another side of it. But it didn't work out. Complications with my schedule and all... Still, if I HAD played, playing Eyes udner the penname "somedriedfish" would have made it amazing all on its own... (But it's like everyone wants to play Eyes...)
Cheerful characters are great for me because. um. I'm disgustingly cheerful. But I love the combination of cheerful-and-depressing, so that's mostly why I'm playing Hizzu. It means I can get off at all angles. *snorts*
Gah. I get to talk abotut it on Mushy-sama's forum, but that's about it. Otherwise you go, "SPIRAL FTW! AHAHAA RIBLESS CHILDREN!" and everyone else looks at you blankly and says, "...Huh?"
