I'll be gone from KORB on Vimeo.

Wanted to share this beautiful video on here as a lazy way to get back on - give yourself some minutes of quiet contemplation and try to watch it till the end, it's really quite beautiful, and a simple concept is played with very creatively.

In other news, a Polish production of "4:48 Psychosis" is coming to the Barbican Centre next March, and I really want to bag tickets now... maybe next week. The playwright Sarah Kane committed suicide after writing this, never having it seen performed - on Wikipedia there's a comment from a critic asking "How on earth do you award aesthetic points to a 75-minute suicide note?". The play apparently reads more like a poem - it has no characters, no stage directions,

From another review, "What I find most terrifying about it is, in fact, how Kane manages to draw so rawly from her personal experience of mental illness and yet to frame it with an absolutely icy intellectual and aesthetic discipline. In this achievement - her ability to successfully objectify, critique and theatricalise her own pain..."

Sounds compelling, uncomfortable, horrific... just my kind of thing.
