I really should get a new desk with that... got a tiny one for my old system ( the one to the left ), because thats all I could afford. The new system is really great though, came with a 20" wide screen monitor too! My father actually went to get a new computer system as well because his old one went mijin gakure ( which explain my sudden ( Read more... )

Ket and I were wondering if you and Drax (and whomever else we can scrounge up) would like to finish the Aht Urhgan missions this weekend, perhaps after Dynamis on Saturday.

She's still taking a break from game, but she'd like to see the end of the ToAU storyline, so we'd like to go on a double-date with you two (ha ha) and whoever else we can find to make a group of 6 to get it done.

Of course, if we find no one, we can always try to 4-man it like we did that Gessho fight.

oh! I been going for a few of the new missions, but I would really like to go again and help you two with them ^^ You can count on me! Although... the new missions are not easy, so we will need a full party setup. No way we can kill Alexander with 4 people only : we just died to it 3 times in a row ; ; He's nasty... very nasty.

Sounds good. I was hoping we'd be doing them all together for the first time, but I suppose FFXI goes on even without me, haha. Glad you'll help us though, we really enjoy doing stuff like that with you guys. I'm sure we can find two more bodies and swing through them without a ton of difficulty...

I'll even come DRK and see how great the new 2-handed weapon adjustments are. I need to buy some grips when I get back...

^^ I started those missions and they are a lot of fun, so I don't mind going for them twice. ( especially since we don't lose exp in battles like that anymore, yey! ). I am sure you will be very satisfied of the changes they made for 2 handed weapons. Its pretty insane o.o Check your attack when you log on, and for your accuracy... you won't need sushi anymore.

DRK will definitly be very good for the Alexander fight! Stun is a must against it.

I wasn't using sushi anyway, due to scythe merits :)

I'm really looking forward to the changes though... I want to do some meriting on DRK, plus I plan to do some extensive testing of grips... although I anticipate the "+2% Double Attack" one will be a must, especially when I go DRK/war and in tandem with Brutal Earring...

That "Additional Effect: Stun" grip looks worth having too, as does the +crit one (assuming the -delay one messes with TP gain).

I won't really be logging on until Friday, though, sadly. But I'll do some exploration and testing this weekend! Looking forward to tearing it up, this update might actually have me back on DRK full-time, except for Dynamis.

We're looking forward to doing the missions with you guys on Saturday ^^
