In game news!
Well, things in games been doing very well.
Howitzer went through two spectacular Dynamis-Xarcabard runs, on both saturday and tuesday. We got Assassin armlet to drop twice, White Mage gloves and Monk piece on last saturday. Yesterday, we obtained another pair of white mage gloves, Dark knight helmet, Paladin body and Black mage hat. Three people actually completed a full AF2 set inside one week. Its pretty impressive! :3
I am having a lot of fun doing limbus with EternalLight. Actually went for proto-ultima last saturday! It was a bit tricky because the thing went insane toward the end of the fight. Me and Thandere both had to zombie tank ( meaning we both had to sacrifice in weakened mode ). I felt a bit bad because I felt like it was my fault if everyone was dying : I couldn't take hate at all sometimes... I really need to get Dark knight sub up to level 37. It would be useful for both my ninja and my red mage. Weirdly, I always been against the concept of Ninjas subbing dark knight, but I understand it can be a useful sub job now. It use to make me twitch, like i still twitch and scream at the sight on a Ninja tanking wearing a haubergeon at all time... *shivers*. I guess i'm an old style Ninja x.x... I was one of the first North American to reach level 75 as NIN, even though i went on a 2 month break when i reached level 63. ( well, I was mostly leveling sub jobs, so not a break from the game itself ).
I made a few testing around with Kikoku and came to the conclusion that the addition paralyze effect is equivalent to paralyze 1 from Red mages. It dosen't kick in very often, but still its a nice side thing to have on the weapon, especially since it generates a bit of hate when it goes off.
Oh! and a side note : me and Drax went to fight a shadow dragon in Xarcabard for fun before starting to prepare our dynamis run last tuesday. We were quite shocked when we actually seen Biast appear! It was halfway down before Sirshibey arrived to help us finish it and...
It dropped the Patroclus's Helm!! yey ^^! Now to get thief to level 60 to be able to wear it :3 Well, my Paladin can wear it but i don't see much use for it on that job... especially since it has -5 enmity! :D
