I've got so much to do before Ashley comes. I really should make a checklist for myself. I've been putting it all off because 1) I'm a natural procrastinator but more importantly 2) if for some god forsaken reason something falls through, I will not have done it all for nothing. (Yeah, I know that's lazy because I should clean up anyway, but still....I think you know what I mean. Basically, doing a bunch of hard labor cleaning will make it even more real.)
So I need to:
- Thoroughly clean out my car (vaccuum, wash the windows - inside & out, throw out the trash *cough*)
- Clean my room (*dies laughing*)
- Clean the bathrooms (EWWWWW!)
- Vaccuum around the birds (oh joy)
- Take care of the living room mess (an astronomical job)
- Clean the kitchen
- Buy an air bed
Yeah. Fugliness all over the place. The bathrooms and kitchen won't be so hard (just gross), the purchasing of the air bed won't be bad, and so long as the weather isn't horrendous, cleaning out my car won't be too bad. It's the damn living room and my bedroom that make me want to crawl under a rock (and the birds are right next to the living room mess, it's almost like they're a combined mess, it's frightening). I'm thinking about having a cleaning "party" either on the 12/13 or splitting it between the 6/7 and 12/13, because I don't want things to get messed up and dirty before she arrives after spending a bunch of time making them clean. (And believe you me, in my house, it happens faaaaaar too easily!)
And then I have to inform Golddigger that I won't be going to work on March 22 and Rachel that I won't be going to ASL on the 23, but I'm waiting until the week of the 8th to do so because I don't want to jinx myself.
Bah. What a scary list of things. Maybe I should just go all Paige Matthews style and use the Vanishing Spell? :-P
