I'm female (three times out of four).
I stumbled upon this http://bookblog.net/gender/genie.php and found it amusing.
Apparently there are words which women tend to use more than men and vice-versa. So with a piece of writing (more than 500 words), this site can tell you whether you are a man or a woman. It's supposed to be 80% accurate though I found out that you can trick the thing with a simple enough thing: whether or not the story you use for the test has any female character in it. Apparently words like she/her/hers and such are big indications of a female writer.I tested it with four of my short stories and the three which had female characters showed (not by much) that I was female. The one I used which didn't have any woman in it made the thing announce me I was male.
