The best nonfiction how-we-met story I've heard was about my best friend and her dear bethrothed. This story is not for the faint hearted because It takes place at a rave, and it involves drugs and slander. My friend, she had gone through a really bad break up, was living back and forth with other friends because she was homeless. Her mother Did not care about her the way a mother should, so she went to raves, and did horrible drugs. I wasn't around at the time to know what was going on. Then by some mirical she spotted another, a soul wondering like her's, he happend to be my good male friend. I never thought to introduce them cause when i was around they both had another. When there hazy druged out eyes met eachothers the spark ignited a passion, that only She understood. His girlfriend was a slut, she would sleep with whom ever wanted her, and she would walk around the raves dressed in nothing but nipple coverings and a thong. Not appropiate by any means. He was in a downward spiral, spinning into a depression, and heartache day by day as he kept dating that girl. Well My friend, she waited, and watched him, still doing the drugs that seemed to calm her mind, but even drugged out and messed up she knew she loved him, and would do anything for him.
It happend my guy friend and that slutty girl broke up, and my friend she made her move, they hung out together at a party, no money on either of their sides, so they couldnt do any drugs, and what they found was a better high than any drug could give them. It was love, it was converstation, it was understanding, and it was a god sent. After that day, the substance abuse stopped, for good. They have not missed it and they are the happiest couple i know. They met under the strangest curcamstance and fell in love and stayed in love. This is a true tale, of flashing lights, and unavoidable occurances. They were ment to be, one lost soul finding the other and will be together forever from this day on. Then they found me, and we were the best of friends eva!
