Disney + Vacation = Woot!!!
I'm back from my week away in Orlando, FL and Disney World, and let me tell you my vacation was AMAZING! Firstly, we were chosen for a MGM show where Mom was drenched in several hundred gallons of water, Dad and I couldn't stop laughing, she looked like a drown cat.
Next, NASA was suppose to launch it's shuttle Atlantis back in March, but due to hail related damage it was postponed until June 8th, which was extremely lucky for us because we got to watch it! Let me just tell you, getting to watch the launch was amazing, I got some great shots of it too!
Park hopping was a blast, nothing like Mikey Mouse, Fireworks, and Disney's Boardwalk Hotel to make a great vacation, I still love Epcot's Countries! The food was amazing, Dad had signed us up for the Disney dinning plan, where the restaurants are ranked by points and so forth, I've never eaten so much on a vacation in my life, they give you more then you can honestly eat, and it's amazingly good!
Next let me just tell you, Florida and the rest of the South have us poor Californian's beat when it comes to thunder storms, yeah we get heavy rain, but nothing near the 6 inches Orlando got in a matter of 2 hours; and the thunder...my god, it was beautiful!!!! My family and I watched it in wonder. The rain was even punctual, it'd fall each day around 4pm, once the wind picked up you knew you had to run for cover.
This was by far one of the best vacations we've had in years!
