Hey There,
Connecticut based band Avery Underwater is heading out on tour in July, and we could definitly use some help in New York.
Avery Underwater is the end result of the formation and break up of several different Connecticut bands. AU is a six piece post-hardcore band, the 6th man being synth and key player Jay Belo, who adds an interesting and unique element to the bands sound. The bands intense live show has earned them fans all around New England, as well as spots opening for band such as Gatsby's American Dream, The Receiving End Of Sirens, The Sleeping, Fallout Boy, Stars Hide Fire, As Tall As Lions, etc.
You can check out some older demo's from Avery Underwater at www.purevolume.com/averyunderwater . Though these songs should give you a basic idea of the bands capabilities, I ask that you keep in mind that these songs are a year old, and were written before the addition of another guitarist.
For their first full-flegded east coast tour, AU is hoping to play at small intimate venues. Small clubs, halls, basements, backyards, are all fine by us. We love the atmosphere at this show and love to be close to the crowd. Gas and food money while on tour is obviously appreciated.
