Israel- Day 3
so, i'm procrastinatin, so i'll do day 3 now, ok, so i'm remmeberin eveythin as we type, so it's saturday now, rite, that last entry was wrong at the end bout prep 4 mass, it was preppin and talkin bout jewish stuff and jerusalem, ummm, ok, so now, ummm, it's still shabbot, umm, ok, we woke up, ate breakfast, duh, lol, ummm, i think we had cornbeef 4 luinch that day, lol, i was goin crazy ova it and i traded 4 cornbeef w/ mary-claire, lol, ummm,ok, so that mornin, ok, yea, we had mornin shabbot services at hebrew union college, connected w/ beit shmuel, nice campus, really long services, lol, they read from the torah, and it makes it longer, shari and jerry helped me w/ the hebrew there, ummm, so after that they ate the hollah and drank the wine/grapejuice, i luv hwo they care bout us so much, and then we had a lil break, and we went walkin in this big huge park rite down the street from beit shmuel, we went 2 the original tomb of king herod b4 it was looted and 2 this windmill tthat this english jewish guy built in the late 1800's who brought the jews 2 jerusalem, after that, we headed bak 2 beit shmuel 4 lunch and then we went 2 this time show, like it was 3d, and it kept on changin from german in2 english 4 me, i think matt had sumthin 2 do w/it, lol, then we walked in2 the armenian quater of the old city, everythin was oopen since they're christian, went 2 this place, i 4get exaclty wat it was, it was in ithis alley, and sumthin happened there, mayb w/ the conquerin of jerusalem by sum invader, who no's, mayb i have it on the video, joe had this whole thing planned where he did a lot of the research, like through the armenian and jewish quarter, it was pretty kewl, all the stuff, we went 2 the syrian orthodox jews chruch of mark where they believe the last supper room is, it really isn't, ummm, and then 2 this place where a doctor guy durin the war 4 israeli independce lived and received the key 2 the city when the british decided 2 leave palestine and he was the leader of the jewish part of jerusalem when the jordanians took it ova, then we went 2 the place where the jordanians blew up 1 of the synagogues and a place where they found mass graves of jewish soldiers fitin in defnese of jerusalem and learned bout a jewish messanger, the youngest 2 die and how he was holdin a message and his hand was shot clean off and he picked up the hand, delievered the message and died on the spot, he was 10 yrs old, movin, umm, then we started the walk bak 2 beit shmuel, outside of the city walls, we saw a place where the jewish special forces tried 2 blow a hole in the old city walls 2 get in and a place where a jewish man was killed just bcuz he was jewsih, dwon the side of mount zion, sr pat almost got hit by a car that beeped like after it was already by, went by trhis amphitheate, that used 2 b a bath 4 1 of the kings, umm, up this huge hill, through a nice secton and finally got bak 2 beit shmuel, thne we had a lil break and went 2 havdalah in the park, like end of shabbot, nice service, very windy, then ak 2 beit shmuel, 4 dinner, left 4 this huge model of jerusalem duirin the 2nd teple period, like jesus and such until the 130's ad (ce) adn 2 this mall, really nice mals, jam packed, only thing is, it's like airport security 2 get in, so like we bought stuff, i got naots, the israeli berkinstocks, ummm, some gifts and ice cream, omg, so good, tc wanted a cheeseburger, lol, 2 mcdonald's in the mall, both kosher, and 4 us stupid catholic kids, lol, kosher means no mixin of meats and dairy, lol, so the ice cream is kosher, and really good, ummmmmmm, i was w/ tc, kelsey, and ron, who helped 2 translate a lot, every1 knew how 2 speak english, whioch is good, only problem was findin out how much amount of soda ina bottle, lady didn't understand english bout that and id understand metric system, lo, it was all good, umm, then we went bak 2 beit shmuel where i had repacked in the afternoon durin free time and stayted up late and went 2 bed then and we had our lil meetin then bout the mass the next day, lol, well, thre's day 3 4 u, a whole 8 more 2 go, lol
