It's a Jersey thing.
The Canadian was gracing Sydney with his lumberjack-esque presence this weekend just gone. I met him on a cold and dark Sunday evening in the city ro catch up and have some fun! I realised as I was nearby to the meeting point that I didn't really have any idea of something to do. He doesn't like drinking, so that removed that option. After that I was all out of ideas.
He suggested going to see of there are cheap tickets for Jersey Boys. I went along, partly from a lack of any other suggestion, partly from wanting to broaden my musical palet.
After scamming a cheap student ticket, we were 8 rows from the front and seeing what was to be an amazing show!! The musicians were fantastic, the acting and choreography was really well done, and the stage design was pretty cool for something so simple. Technology definitely helped there. Still, I came out of the Theatre Royal thinking "I was really glad The Canadian suggested that!" Also, I kind of want to purchase Franki Vally CD's now!
