So... do you think that aside from Deckard, Dr. Eldon Tyrell was also a replicant?
I love the idea of that.
I think I read that theory somewhere. It speculated that Dr. Eldon Tyrell knowing that Batty and the others were after him, and that since he obviously had programmed, implanted and "prepared" Deckard as well as Rachel; he also created a replicant in his own image to avoid being killed.
He was not killed -according to this theory- but was safely kept in suspended animation, ready to be awakened when the danger was over, while the replicant was destroyed by Batty.
That would've been a super-genius move.... right?
