homogenized

thats the word for today.
everyone wants to make money and i think our culture is sick over money. this whole convergence thing is so stupid. wasn't it about getting together and and enjoying ourselves? now it's a pepsi-cola concert starring ?
i don't know, at least people are angry and trying to do something. i feel like these people have grown complacent and haven't really cared. almost every goth night has been overtaken by emb and shit noiz musik. whatever, i can take some of that mixed in. now these clubs don't promote it as a gothic night perse, but still advertise in the same way using the same name and the same flyers. sorry, i didn't change. you won't see me in ponyfalls and goggles.
platform boots and glow in the dark bracelets.
to let others take over and to not care, to just give in and fade away...
i hear rumblings about a rogue fashion show at convergence, i hope it works. it used to be fun, ages ago to go to concerts. you would run into other goths in local shops in said town, or at dunkin donuts. the town was yours to discover. maybe i don't want to pay 40$ to go to your little tea party.
how many of you plan your outfits out weeks in advance for the big show? i never did that. i just overpacked and went with it that day. i also never needed to take a bunch of time to get ready. makeup is doable in under 30 minutes, even on halloween. (but i do get paid for doing that, so it's not really important, usually spend less than 5minutes per day on makeup and i wear a lot)
this is warbling out of control, i'm tired and must rest.
