It's shitty here today
For the past few days, we've been having terrible weather here.
There is a 6800 acre forest fire not too far from where i live and it's been extremely smokey. I can't breath, I'm so congested, my eyes constantly water. It fucking sucks. I feel like i've smoked 3 packs today.
And wonderful subtropical storm Andrea has popped up. they have waited a while to give it a name. Those of us who have weathered hurricanes before know one when we see one. The beach is gone, the river is flooded. The winds are extreme.
The winds from the storm have actually made the fires worse and made breathing conditions worse as well. light rain, which is forecast for the rest of today and into Thursday, will actually worsen both visibility and breathing conditions and will keep the airborne smoke particles closer to the ground.
Recess was cancelled and people are being told to stay in their homes.
