Stole this from Jess. And no I won't put an eljay cut in it. :P
1. Music that Changed My Life
The Beatles #1 - Like Jess said, not their greatest stuff, but it did open my musical taste to the Beatles. Got the album in 8th grade for Christmas. By 10th grade I had all their albums. Literally. Also, by re-discovering the Beatles (my parents listened to them on occasion), also opened my taste up to oldies and Classic Rock.
The Three Tenors - opened my world up to Classical Music and a lifelong love for Opera.
Buddha Bar - opened up my taste to world and club music. Thanks Dunn!
2. Music I Can Listen to on Repeat
Anything by Johnny Cash I could listen to over and over again.
John Williams (prefably Star Wars soundtracks).
Led Zeppelin never gets old to me.
Same with the Stones and U2.
And Elton John.
Nobou Uematsu.
And of course, the Beatles.
3. An Album I'd Take onto a Desert Island
Any of the Coldplay albums would be coming with me. Good light, chill music is what you'll need.
Joshua Tree and Acthung Baby should be coming with me as well.
4. Music that Makes me Smile
Centerfold - J Geils Band
Green Eyes - Coldplay
William Shatner singing Rocket Man.
Good Morning - The Beatles
5. Music that Makes me Cry/Melancholic
Angie - The Rolling Stones, only song to actually make me cry (in my defence, the first time I ever heard the song was right after a really bad break-up).
6. Music I Wish Had Been Made
More William Shatner albums, if for anything, the novelty value.
Oasis after the 90s break-up. Same thing with the Verve.
7. Music I Wish Had Never Been Made
Swedish Clock music.
8. Music I'm Currently Into
Franz Ferdinand.
Rusted Root.
Marques Toliver (a friend at school who plays and writes his own song. Think a male version of Tracy Chapman).
Yes and Rush.
Gavin DeGraw.
Been exploring more Motown as of late as well.
9. Music I've Been Meaning to Explore
Hmmmm... I'm sure there is stuff out there yet to be discovered.
10. Tag...Whoever!
Bauer-man, I'd like to see you do this! :P
