In the swimming pool

Life's a lot like water and we are swimmers. Many unexperienced swimmers hold the misconception that the faster they swing their arms, the more quickly they'll get to where they want to go. However, huge amounts of energy are lost because they are not focused. The most efficient way to get to the other end of the pool is to stay calm and calculate your strokes. Beyond the limitations of dogmatic calculations, though, there is a rhythm you find...an unexperienced swimmer feels himself in the water while the true swimmer sees the unison between himself and the water. You usually notice that women enjoy their swims more then men...I think thats because many guys take on the mentality of "conquering the water" while the people who enjoy swimming the most want to be with the water not conquer it. All of this translates perfectly to life. I think the moral of the story is to stop seeing ourselves in life and to start seeing life in ourselves.
