If you get lost along the way, it's alright...
So it seems that I am rather horrible at keeping this journal updated on a regular basis. Maybe that will change? Who knows lol.
So I found out today that I have gotten a second job (my other one being at Food Basics, the one on Clair and Gordon). It's at a new store at the Stone Rd Mall, NV Clothing. I'm pretty stoked about the opportunity to work there. It's the kind of environment I need to be working in, with people who are into the same kinda things as I am, music being one of them. They sell pretty high end clothing (Guess, Bench, Lady Dutch to name a few), some of it expensive, others reasonably priced. My first shift is next Monday night from 5-9, and as excited as I am, I'm also pretty nervous about it. It's pretty different from the work that I'm used to. But I'm sure I'll catch on to it quickly!
I'm also in the process of re-applying to University. Ryerson to be precise. Mr. Tubbs is going to help me as much as he can, and I have to say I really appreciate it. I'm worried that I'm going to have troubles getting in with them being able to view my transcripts from U of O, as my marks there weren't anything to write home about. Hopefully it all works out though. I'm really looking forward to starting a new chapter of my life in Toronto in the fall. It's nice that things seem to finally be picking up in my life. I know after all the hardships that I've been though, I can only come out stronger for it in the end. Also, maybe since I've had my mid-life crisis at the age of 20, now I wont need to have one when I'm 45! :P
Well, that's about it for now. I'll try to update more often, though I'm not promising anything! Lol. Night night for now!
