so it's been a while since i have written in here. loads has happened since my last post way in the middle of march. the thing with robert started, and then ended just as quickly. not too sure why, but i dont really care anymore. i did at first, but its not worth the effort. so here's to me throwing that away. i really dont mind not being with someone. its not something i need in my life for me to be happy. though thats not to say that if some cute, funny, charming guy came into my life i would say no... lol more likely i would love it. :D
the first big thing that's happened since my last post was the volunteer gala. omg... such a fun night! me and eric did a last minute shop for a dress for me, but it ended up working out perfect. im really in love with the dress that i finally got. i have to say that everyone looked really good that night. but of course me and eric blew everyone's minds... :P we had the awards given out, then we went upstairs to 1848, and mike, ellen, sean and trevor met up with us there for mike's birthday. we ended up going to pub 101 after, where some random french dude tried to pick me up and take me home with him. he was drunk, and all i could understand from his slur was "truck", "hull" and "my house". super creepy! so i threw myself on trevor and he saved me from the scary dude. it was a super fun night. i hadnt hung out with them in forever.
then we had the interservice challenge near the end of march. it was all trivia. now although i am on both foot patrol and i work for pride, i was on pride's team... didnt really have too much of a choice about that one. working there kinda made its mind up for me. we won though, so it was all good. a bunch of us went out for gelatto and a walk afterwords, then went to patty bowlands for a beer. i kinda like chilling at a pub once in a while more than going out to a club. you cant really talk to people there. this is a much more relaxing atmosphere for sure.
last weekend was spent hanging out, and going to the history gala with peter so he didnt have to go alone. lol it gave me an excuse to dress up again! :P and this past weekend was sweet. it was the volunteer apreciation night, and we went to laser quest. i am so not -11 anymore, no matter what matt says, though he is back in guelph, so he really has no say in the matter! so much fun there though that night. i dont think i have laughed so hard at something in a long time. definately needing to go back out soon... :P
well peeps, that is pretty well much me in the last month. i'll try to update more often than i have been. my procrastination must come to an end. ciao babes!
