There are wild packs of dogs all over India. Literally everywhere, practically on every street corner. If you're in a particular part of town, you might even see packs patrolling the area. They own it much like a gang and they are fiercely defensive. I've never been afraid of them, but I could see choosing to walk across the street or take another

Haha, I totally did not make that connection to BoBo and BoBo! XD

I guess it's easier to turn a blind eye when it has reached the kind of epidemic levels like it is here. I suppose we can be glad they don't eat them!

But the poverty is terrible and it wouldn't surprise me to learn that they were competing with other humans for food in some cases. It's sad, but what can you do :(

I didn't know you were back in India! How long do you spend out there these days?

Yeah! I got a job offer back at the end of October and they moved me out here pretty quickly. I had to find a roommate/cat sitter so once I had that nailed down, I was packing for Bangalore.

I've been here since mid-November, but on average I've been spending 3 months a year since 2008 :)

Same recruiting stuff, but this time no management responsibilities. I'm doing process improvement and training mostly. I dig it!
