To my friends at NC State -- I love you all dearly and I wish you the best in your college pursuits. That said ...
Fuck you, North Carolina State University.
So, apparently I might not be going to college this fall. With my acceptance letter from Carolina, I received a number of forms to be filled out and returned to UNC so that I might be properly enrolled at the university. Among those was a community standards form affirming that during my tenure at NC State, I had not been suspended, expelled, or made otherwise ineligible to continue my college education. I distinctly remember placing that particular form into the hands of Paul Cousins, the Director of Student Conduct at my esteemed former university. Today, during halftime of the World Cup final (which only provided me with more reason to be in a bad mood), I checked my e-mails. And what did I find but a message from the UNC Office of Admissions, informing me that they have yet to receive my community standards form. If it is not postmarked by this Thursday, July 13th, my enrollment at Carolina will be cancelled. So, I'm kind of pissed off.
On a related note, I'll be in Raleigh Wednesday morning. Anyone care to grab some coffee?
