I have started a new tradition. The tradition of the anniversary shrub. I've picked a fake plant in our house, and instead of ornaments, I stuck one picture from each year Tom and I have been dating, plus one from the day we started dating. Thus, each year the shrub gets more pictures.
I just really like having presents put under something. I put his present under it then started decorating the thing. He rolled his eyes. That's just fine. I think it's festive.*
