Colorado History I & Thoughts

Jan 27, 2005 00:09

I've been reading the first three chapters of my book, it is completely amazing that the Anasazi were completely extinct from what would become Colorado by 1300 AD.  I'm being serious here, no prior history book or class I have been in has ever made mention of this and to find it out really shows our nations ignorance of native tribes & cultures.

Thursday night I have to undergo three classes, again.  I enjoy these classes, I am looking forward to them.  My dilema is that I am not looking forward to my Speech class on Monday.  I was sitting down on my chair talking to Jessica with the following colorful words coming out of my mouth and she was laughing her ass off... where the fuck does this class get off on a 100-question final exam in 90 minutes?  Yes, it is 14 or 15 weeks away, but come on!  This is a motherfucking speech class that should be grading on your effective presentation to a group of your peers in real world scenarios, not, "what do you call a non-prepared speech?"  Shit!  The fuckin' instructor has to say that the final is a department provided test, bullshit!  I don't believe this whatsoever!  He wants us to bring in a videotape, I don't even own a god-damn VCR, it's called the 21st century, hello!  MiniDV, DAT, hell CD-ROM, but VHS, come on!  And to top it all off, this guy cannot run a class, zero on my personality scale!  I can't believe I was so annoyed.  He wants us to read three chapters in our SPEECH book, oh give me a break.  Sounds like he doesn't do lecture, goodie!  There goes the entire concept of note taking!

I need to go to bed and relax, finish reading that history assignment and get some good sleep... my office called and woke me up at 6:15am this morning, how friendly.  I woke up late, got the kids to school late, well, you do the math.  aRgh!
