Monday / Monday Meetings
Today is Monday I keep reminding myself. Both kids weren't feeling well, then again, they haven't been feeling well for the past couple days. We kept them home from school as getting every other child in their classes sick is not my idea of fun for anyone. Weather was cold and cloudy, I was hoping for snow but that isn't happening anytime soon. Maybe I'll get snow tonight while in class.
An old friend of mine messaged me today, a parent of an almost two year old son, her statement to me "you are the first person I've talked to in almost a year, it is nice to have good adult conversation about everything and anything." This put a smile to my face and made Monday a better day. I do enjoy this type of conversation, she was very happy to see me online after all that time.
I reviewed my Speech class material for tonight, I was not going to read 6 chapters of information that is more common sense than anything. Tomorrow night I have a four page paper due for English, I'll churn that out tonight and tomorrow morning.
Had a few meetings today, they were all just a little bit of a pain, no big deal though.
I'm going to ditch out of speech at 7:40.
