Forward
Dear Family and Friends, in this most joyous of season it often beneficial to reflect on the true nature of these festivities, the spirit of giving, namely too me. So I welcome all those closest to me and to those cyber stalking to take a moment out of their busy schedule and pause to think about what they are going to get my for Christmas.

Chapter 1:
Presents

Films By Akira Kurosawa - I like movies, I love action movies and this guy is the best of the Best.
Tickets to a sporting event - I like sports, I wish more of my friends did so we could go sometime.
A Painting - Pretty things are the warmth that gets us past these cold dark days of December. That and Starbucks. I am fond of Georgia O'Keeffe, but maybe i am just drawn to her pictures of flowers
Paintball Trip - I like inflecting pain on friends and strangers alike especially in a competitive goal orientated manner.
A Fish - When my brother was a senior in high school my family and I were invited too come decorate his locker during the last week of school. This was a time honored tradition for our school and we chose to put a live animal in the locker, a beta fish. Ben had the fish for his entire college career and the fish died on the day he graduated. Spooky. (ps i will probably kill Jonah if you get him for me)
New Glasses/Eye Appointment - I have wanted one for the past 3 years and have put on on my x-mas list each time. And each time I am given money that in turn goes to pay for rent and food. My glasses are really really old
Winter Clothes - I dislike being cold and like it when i look nice.
Baneslayer Angel - I am a nerd ( I don't necessary want this, maybe just some fetch lands, but am interested to find out who knows what it is GOOGLE IS CHEATING!@!)
Skaven Clanrats - See above
Gift Certificate to an awesome restaurant - Going out to eat is my favorite social activity. It was always a treat growing up and still is to this day.
A cooking book - I love to be creative and cooking allows experimentation, problem solving, improvisation and good eats. Alas I rarely cook because it seems seldom worth the effort too cook for just one. I really enjoy fixing fewd for others, whether its grilling or just making chili. It really helps to have a talented and skilled Chef in the family. You rock Ben!
Something Beautiful - I have started collecting beautiful things. A bottle of Voss water that's really cool, an art book on the graffiti artist Benski a Chinese manga "orange" by the artist Benjamin, a girlfriend from time to time, and Leche the cow from the moofia. And I want more beautiful things in my life.
Paula Dean - I am a southern boy (I would so do her, just imagine how good the breakfast would be in the morning.)
Stories - I love stories
The popcorn from walgreens that tastes like pickles - I liked this popcorn a lot more before Brad said it tastes like pickles. It does, but I like it anyways.
Chapter 2:
On the Art of Gift Hunting

When I was a child of just 9 or 17 I would spend days scouring our house for hidden presents. Under the bed, in the closet, in that attic, at the neighbors house or maybe in the trunk of the car or at my fathers work. Ahh, but eventually my smart mother would catch on and hide them at her friends house. This made me sad.

But not for long, for I started looking for receipts for the presents since they had to be kept in case one of my brothers or I wanted to exchange something. So do not be surprised if you find me going through your purses or wallets. Its not my fault, I can't help myself, if my mother and father couldn't stop me, who do you think you are? You have been warned!

Chapter 3:
On X-mas Lists

I am not sure how great of a list this is but my intention was not necessarily to give you something that you could merely check yes or no, but rather to give you insights into my hopes, desires, fears and dreams and do so in an entertaining manner. It is truly the gifts that you never ask for and never expect that mean the most. Because I think we are really all just looking for a group of people that understand us well enough to get us something without any direction. And frankly I don't trust you guys =p

Thank You and God bless America and Santa Claus
