I went on a bit of a shopping binge today, what with McGill Model United Nations coming up and all...got a cute pair of calf length black suede boots for only $40, so I felt really happy.
Yes, as much as I rail against consumerism and how disgusting it all is, sometimes stupid things like a pair of boots make me happy.
Also, I got a new necklace and it matches my striped shirt really nicely:
