yeah... anyway, im back... from - wherever... my neo account got frozen for talking politics again, and I want to cry. On the other hand, I've been doing my homework, and I passed my last math test! I FINALLY have LimeWire, and I've been putting it to good use. My new favourite band is (officially) The Hidden Cameras. If you know anything about Nina Simone and Canada - you'll get a kick out of their new album. After recovering from the FATAL PLAGUE, I went out last night for the first time in two weeks. Unbelievable, yes, I know. A few of my friends and I went out to celebrate Shez's birthday at the (ever dreary) mall. In terms of style and music, I'm very different from my friends. The only place I 'fit in' at the mall is in HMV or Indigo. I also 'fit in' at WEST49, but I'd rather not associate myself with the 'sk8r bois and gurls'. We saw Hitch, which, (even in my eyes) was bearable. The plot was pathetic, but there were some good jokes. The leading actress is gorgeous, but I'm not sure she's much else in that movie. Then we kind of split up and walked around. Of course, James and I ended up in HMV, and we looked around for a bit. James even bought me the CD I wanted (the hidden cameras)! Yes! I love this boy... Anyway, the clerk, a guy named Andrew, suggested that if we liked Neutral Milk Hotel, we should come to the show his band was playing that night. So, James and I checked them out, but the sound system was messed up. Everyone could tell that they weren't playing at their best, but it sounded like they had potential. In the middle of this, James suddenly said, "Anna, I think I love you." And I just stood there - for 3 minutes. This must have been the longest time I've ever stayed still without zoning out. Apparently, he seemed okay with me staring at him for such a long time, because he just stood there too. "Well... okay," I said, then paused, "James, I - I..." At that point, I really didn't know what to say. So, without anything else to do, I left. I turned away from him, and left the show. When I got home, I got into bed and just lay there - for about 2 hours. I know it was completely rude, especially after he just bought me that CD, but I didn't know what to do. It would have been stupid for me to stand there any longer, and anything I said would be make things even more akward. I just really don't know what I think. I do know that he meant what he said, and that he probably gave it a lot of thought. He really meant, "I think I love you.". Key word there... 'think'... That's pretty much all I can do right now.
