IC Post for Kelsey as 6th year Remus

Dear Journal,
Right. So, the Potters were here to pick Sirius up this morning. Apparently he didn't want to wake me up, because I just barely have a vague recollection of someone kissing me on the cheek this morning and saying goodbye. Little sneak. And now I won't see him for a month, he's trekking around France. Gonna miss the little pervert. ;-;
The morning was otherwise uneventful. Well, almost.
While I was at school this year, my parents thought it a good idea to buy one of those Muggle contraptions. Computers, I believe they're called. Of course, none of us have any idea how on Earth to use it, but they take great delight in toying around with it. For example, an acquaintance of theirs took it upon themselves to download a game called "Stepmania". The general idea is to press arrow keys on the keyboard in rhythm with a song as they pass over different arrows. It sounds odd, but it's really quite fun. This morning my father must have been playing it before going to work, because the screen was still up. I stumbled out of bed, mesmerized by the shining colors. Of course, in my fuzzy state, I managed to hit the "Enter" key and thus begin the song, entitled Rice and Curry.
And what a bizarre song it was. A very frightening man with a Chinese accent had decided to open a curry shop, and then write a song about it apparently.
I did, however, AA the song on Light on my 3rd try, and have been playing it non-stop ever since. ^^;;

P.S. I got an A on Standard after a couple of tries, too. I'm very proud of myself.
((OOC: Right, so, most of this was correct, though it was my sister leaving for Poland for a month, not Sirius to France. I couldn't remember which summer Sirius left home, but hopefully it's this one. ^^;; And the whole Stepmania thing is correct, except it's my brother and not my dad who plays it. He's freaking obsessed with it.
