I am hilariously and stupidly proud of myself because I sucessfully navigated Warsaw's public transport and I FEEL SO GROWN-UP. I know that it's like "lol riding a bus 'kay" but for a girl from a small town in Ohio, buses are a Big Fucking Deal to me. Not to mention I literally have no fucking clue about the map or layout or anything of Warsaw at all and there are I think a thousand million bus routes? Not kidding a thousand million. :|
I forget and try to wear short shorts every time I come here out of habit and every time my grandmother nearly has a heart attack and is like "a) we don't wear those here and b) you're going to get raped" and I am never sure if she's just old-fashioned or people don't actually wear short shorts in Poland. >>;; I got them in a store in Poland, but maybe it just. Isn't a thing to wear in the city? IDEFK, I'M FRN, HLEP, I'M A STRANGER IN A STRANGE LAND. (Confirmed, my aunt says it's just not really a thing people do. In case anyone ever wants to know. :Db)
...Yeah, that's all. >>;; I'm slowly adjusting to being here. Not just time zone shift, but also just. Everything? Different family and different expectations and different generation and different culture, etc. :Db So yeah. Adjustment is good.
BUT DAMN IT YOU GUYS I'M GOING TO BE IN-TRANSIT DURING THE POLAND-RUSSIA MATCH OF EURO 2012 I AM JUST READY TO HURL MYSELF OFF OF SOMETHING THAT WAS THE MATCH I WANTED TO SEE MOSTTTTTTTTTTTT ;A;
